Chevy Presents Malibu with Engine Trifecta

Already a fan of the award-winning Chevrolet Malibu? Then wait until you hear about the mid-sized sedan's latest engine options. Jeff D'Ambrosio Chevrolet is here to tell you that company officials have recently confirmed the arrival of a turbocharged engine available for the 2013 Malibu variant.
While it's too early to officially pinpoint the powertrain unit used, the automotive rumor mill is cranking out speculations of a 270-horsepower 4-cylinder. This means that the future model would pack on nearly 100 more ponies than the current Malibu variant. Worthy of another accolade to add to the model's already generous collection? We sure think so.
In addition to the turbocharged option, Chevy will also give Malibu fans the choice of two other great power plants: a base 2.5-liter 4-cylinder and an eAssist eco hybrid system. The former of the two musters up an output of 190-hp and 180-lb./ft. of torque while the latter displaces 182-hp and 172-lb./ft. of torque. Not bad and not bad...especially considering both are expected to gain considerable improvements in fuel economy as well.
Though we can't yet produce full details for the upcoming Malibu masterpieces, Jeff D'Ambrosio Chevrolet hopes this tidbit was enough to get you hooked. At this point it's looking like the Eco Hybrid variant will be the first to jump into the market, followed closely behind by the new 4-cylinder and then the turbocharged option. As Chevy continues to release more information you can bet we'll work hard to keep you informed. You can also rest assured that the brand experts at Jeff D'Ambrosio Chevrolet, 2158 Baltimore Pike Oxford, PA 19363 will clue you in to any advancements regarding other new Chevrolet models and products.
