Illinois-Based Consumers are First to Buy New Malibu Eco

Imagine for a minute what it would be like to own the first model of a new Chevrolet vehicle...we envision it would feel quite empowering and exhilarating. Then again, Jeff D'Ambrosio Chevrolet in Oxford is simply surmising. Two Chevrolet fans who don't have to guess are Talfred and Jeneise Hunt of Romeoville, IL. The Hunts walked into a local dealership simply looking for a bit of Chevrolet service. Instead, they left as the first customers to buy a brand-new 2013 Chevrolet Malibu Eco.
Priced at less than the current hybrids in the market, the Malibu Eco is designed with the automaker's fuel-saving eAssist technology. Translated to results, this means that the new Chevrolet model gets an estimated 37 mpg highway and 25 mpg city. Unlike full-on hybrids which call on a motor for acceleration, the Eco uses its battery power to assist with other vehicle functions such as start-stop technology, radio, air conditioning and regenerative braking.
In a recent press release, Chevrolet officials note that the 2013 Malibu Eco powertrain is "improving fuel economy by 12 percent over today's four-cylinder engine - and delivering better fuel economy than any non-hybrid midsize sedan currently available."1 Because of eAssist, you know that model is highly efficient and because it's a Chevy, you know it performs impeccably.
Jeff D'Ambrosio Chevrolet in Oxford is proud to carry such a stellar model like the Malibu Eco on our lot at 2158 Baltimore Pike Oxford, PA 19363. To see what all the buzz is about for yourself, feel free to swing by for a test drive or contact us in advance to make an appointment.
