In order to commemorate 60 successful years of the Chevrolet Corvette, our favorite automaker has two automotive treats in store. While neither come with a coat of frosting or candy sprinkles, Jeff D'Ambrosio Chevrolet thinks the Corvette Anniversary Package and the Collector Edition Corvette 427 Convertible are much sweeter than cake.

Allowing Chevrolet fans to relive the good old days, the automaker has brought back the all-powerful 427-cubic-inch LS7 engine and vamped it up with some modern day techniques. Thanks to lightweight carbon-fiber materials and an output of 505-hp, the 2013 Chevrolet Corvette 427 Convertible packs one of the hardest punches of any convertible to date. Just how hard? We're talking a whiplash-inducing sprint time of 0-60 in 3.8-seconds and a top speed somewhere over 190-miles per hour. Clearly this model is not for the average, power-conservative driver.

For those who prefer a different Corvette flavor, Chevrolet has also created a special 60^th anniversary package that will be available for any 2013 Corvette model. This commemorative feature bundle includes the following: an Artic White exterior paint job, Blue Diamond leather-wrapped interior, anniversary logos, optional graphics, a ZR1-style rear spoiler and blue top for convertible variants. Both the anniversary package and Collector Edition Corvette 427 will be arriving at dealers such as Jeff D'Ambrosio Chevrolet, 2158 Baltimore Pike Oxford, PA 19363 starting this summer.
